The reason is that in spite of all our shows of solidarity and unity, deep down we are bogged down by manacles of caste, creed and religion. If not, why would the Congress party and its ally the NCP be so worried about choosing the right candidate from the right caste to succeed Deshmukh as the CM of Maharashtra. We accuse them of playing vote bank politics. In reality it is just that at the end of the day those politicians know very well that Indians after all are not immune to casteist thoughts. So think about this, who needs to introspect first. We the people or they the politicians. The outbursts of anger and frustration by people like Mr.Unnikrishnan, the father of martyred NSG Commando Major Sandeep and the kin of the innocents who lost their lives can be justified but when the rest of us begin to react with uncontrollable emotions nothing constructive could ever come out of it. We may even make stupid and totally uncalled for comments like Simi Garewal made on NDTV (and was later compelled to retract it). Of course its ok to let our heart (emotion) do the talking but not with out the head (logic) supporting it from behind. Terrorism cannot be discussed in isolation but its scope is much larger which we the common citizens need to be constantly aware of, not just when something big and terrible happens.

There is a need for a major overhaul with respect to Intelligence gathering, upgrading the crisis infrastructure

enough is enough; Let us attack on the terrorist camps whether in India and or in Pakistan. Please shoot all the people who have links and even have doubt. In the process some times inocent people may get killed ( may be my self and is acceptable to me) in the fight agaisnt terror. What non-sence the Pakistan and there people including media, politicians are talking about the incidents.

Why do our police don't get advanced weapons that those terrorists were able to get.why don't the government stop unnecessary election sake where money is wasted.

I pray and hope that there's a day in the life of every citizen of each nation, to live in peace and humanity. This rage of hatred anger is long etched in the minds and hearts of these people. And there's nothing anyone can do about it, other than giving and having hope in our hearts. Having following the actions & reactions of different people in past few days, any amount of security, any amount of funding, any amount anything is not going to help. Let's just pray and make sure we don't become victims of these actions.

They have no value for their own citizen’s life which we had already experienced during their adventurous trips to Kargil. I want that all the extremist religious parties and organizations and their leader should be banned and their protection should be removed .It is their shameless and thoughtless activities we are facing this problem. With an estimated population of 1.13 billion representing 17% of the world population why can't we stop this. The reason being we believe in peace since our birth as country and well before that. As india being a secular country we must have only secular political parties. Any group forming in communal line can see the problems related to the community and if need government intervention seek justice through other secular parties. They must not have representation in assembly or parliament. Secular parties should maintain party membership as per the population ratio of the state. I condemn the attacks and the terrorist organisations. Also our responsible officers who are irresponsible. Still they have not woken up as TV channels show the security lack in many depts. I dont understand why the officers and politicians dont do their basic duties. If they want to just enter politics and enjoy life, why do they enter politics. There are many other ways to enjoy life. Though India is a developing nation and it has enough internal problems of its own like infrastructure developement, plight of the farmers. etc. we need to invest a considerable amount of our budget in 1. Strengthening Intelligence Services 2. Like in the US, a system of Social Security Number with which ever person is under the scanner. Be it his cell phone, electricity bills, credit card or Family cards link them so that anomalies can be detected at a very early stage. 3. Better equipment for the police to counter threats or at least easily mobilizable weapons at times of need. 4. Last but not the least, Pray God that future politicians are at least less corrupt.

Minister's need to take accountability. Resignations are just not enough. Media needs to be very strong in bringing out how tax payers money is used for our country's defence and internal security.
