I condemn these attacks by these terrorists and whichever agency they belong to. I am also shocked that we are so vulnerable that in such a scenario, we just keep looking around helplessly, not knowing whom to ask for answers. As a common man, after so many attacks on us across almost all our cities, I need to know an answer to a simple question: what do I expect the next time something like this happens? |

Home Ministry and Defence Ministry should jointly come up with a plan for alleviating the fears of the common man about national security. With India gaining in prominence on the wor ld stage, there will be many who would want to do us harm, so in this environment, being a little paranoia as opposed to our normal "chalta hai" attitude could actually work to secure many innocent lives. |

Why Mumbaikars should wake up only when some tragedy happens? We should have a permanent Disaster Management Group, which can tackle not only terror, but also natural calamities like floods, disease, hunger etc. Also it should be able to tackle communcal riots, bandhs etc. |

N.R.Kashivishwanathan - Kanpur
I strongly condemn the attack made by the terrorists who intend to destabilise our country and call for a strong offencive. I also offer my deepest condolences and pray to god to give enough strength to their family members to bear the sorrow. I also call from our brotherhoods to extend the support in all possibel manner. The Attacks made the extremists have caught the Ministry of Home Affairs unaware. This shows the poor functioning of the Ministry and the linked RAW and Intelligents units. The Whole working of the ministry is to be scanned and a day to day MIS info system should be placed for evaluation in a council of members for discussions and action. The Minister should be qualified enoughwith a Masters degree in Management, and to be competant enough with a degree in crisis management and should have proved himself so that he understands the call of the hour and take appropriate action. and above all he he should be holding High Integrety. The defence Ministry and the Ministry of Home Affairs should work in atmost coordination without any bearucracy. and above all looking into the need of the hour one should actwith his own mind and by the Rule book like the Anouncer Did at the Mumbai CST unlike the ATC who delayed the Aircraft carrying the Commandos at New Delhi. the ATC should be called for an explanation. In my opinion the bottom of all is CORRUPTION which is rampant and it seems it has now mingled in the blood. Excluding stray cases of honest people the majority of the lot is dishonest and do not leave a single chance for accepting bribe in doing the jobfor which they are paid by the Govt. You name any department, I am ready to give examples. whether it is a school, college, Police, Commercial Taxes deptt, Income Tax dept. Centarl Excise, Customs, Defence, etc etc. It is an ocean. I dont know how we can weed out this menance. 2/3 rd of the Ministers are Corrupt and they are the torch bearers of this nation. Mera Bharat Mahan? Most have them have cases pending and some are in Jail . they are our leaders. This is all nonsense and such people should be immediately thrown out and should not be allowed to be nominated in the elections for ever and should also not be allowed to excercise their Vote as they will vote for bad elements only to pave their way. It is time to review our constitution para by para and re-write the same with reference to the Present context and situation. My humble request to all my people of INDIA to work sincerely with utmost integrity hwere ever you are working you are contributing to the nation. Vande Matram, Jai Hind N.R.Kashivishwanathan |

My deepest heartfelt regret to all suffered due to the enthic terriost act at mumbai. This is a real shame to all of us. What is the use of being a secular country. The politicians are using the word secular for the vote banks they dont even leave their caste. We are being secular to get beaten up from some unkown??? group or individuals. We have something to do to live peacefully in our motherland. This is country which always welcome the changes and even the new people and their idologies. now the son of the soils has to take care of our own things by helping ourselves. it is the time to change |

I salute the commandos, the policemen, the hotel staff, the firemen and all those ordinary men and women who were killed/injured while helping others during the last couple of days of carnage and bloodbath which was unleashed by terrorists on our city. I hope this anger, pain and anguish doesn't die soon...in the name of the spirit of Mumbai and resilience. I would like this pain to remind us of this carnage for the rest of our lives. To remind us of the incompetent and ineffecient political class in our state and in our country. To remind us that terrorism is a fact of life. To remind us that all of us have been selfish and have just been carrying on with our lives everytime a disaster strikes our city in the guise of resilience. To remind us that we cannot be complacent anymore and be satisfied with crumbs thrown on us by our ruling class in the form of compensation to the casualties. It is time that we voice our anger, our anguish, and our frustration and share our ideas and demand change and keep our hope alive. We shall not bow down to terrorists, come what may! Jai hind! |

Everytime a terrorist attack happens, the politicians tell us we will take strong action against terror. Security is stepped up across the country, police go on an overdrive, albeit all of them including the politicians go back to sleep in a few days time, to wake up again only when another attack happens. Our intelligence gathering is a failure, the police force has long been crippled by corruption and political meddling. And thanks to the politicians, terror has now become a religious and vote issue. Its time these politicians, who feel terror attacks like that of last week are small issues, are held accountable. Lets vote all of them out and let the corporates, the armed forces, the youth take over. Lets show the politicians the stick instead of falling prey to their carrots. |

Ever one knows when ever there are mass killings like 9/11,26/11 etc. world acts and acts from top to bottom not from bottom to top. Why not to cat on those cases which are causes of growing terrorism which mainly are Kashmir, Phasiltine , etc. Pakistan started militancy in J&K, but India is responsible for its growth using black army with blind laws (PSA, AFSPA, etc.) to kill and book innocents which takes arms to revenge. Their dear's have been killed, they don't bother who will be killed by their acts.. Stop growing causes of terrorism's. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere". |
