First of all let us pray for all those who laid ther life to save our CITY from the clutches of terrorists. I feel, this is not the time, as the politicians are trying, to divide ourselves and fight against each other because terrorists have Muslim names and they have killed our Hindu brethern. This is nothing but 'Divide and rule' which perpetrators of this heinous crime know fully well that it works as it has worked very well in India now and in the past. Let our politicians and the terrorist group be conveyed, thru our actions, that we Indians are UNITED and would not fight against each other but against the might of TERRORISM. By dividing us Indians, our politicians are acting just like the front operation teams of these terror groups. I propose following plan of action. 1) Let us desist from dividing ourselves by fighting against each other. 2) Put more energy and effort in getting all strata of people get basic education. Put pressure on Govt. to allocate and use more funds towards educating masses. Thus it would become difficult for Political parties to fool the masses. 3) Make our security agencies, primarily Police force, corruptionless. It is a very difficult task, but we can force Govt. to create some kind of forum or say website where people can report individual corrupt incidences without providing identities. Normally people desist from reporting because there is chance of backlash and harrasment. So it can be anonymous. 4) As we elect candidates thru polling for them, the law should also have a provision to call them back, if the performance is not upto the mark. And this right to call back should be in the hands of people not politicians. Let us create an accountability process. 5) There is very powerful tool available in the hands of people of India, ie. called as 49-O rule by which one can go to the polling both and register his disapproval of candidates standing. Please read the details by searching 49-O in google or wikepedia. 6) Security in Mumbai's lifeline, local trains, need to be beefed up on an urgent basis. Railway ministry instead of just earning profits on land near railway stations, should put these profits for the betterment of facilities in local trains. 7) On a war footing a Disaster Management Structure should be created to handle such situations wherein many of the security and intelligence agencies would need to co-ordinate the operations. 8) One very important thing that need to be addressed is the free access to news/channel agencies to the affected locations. It is a sheer lack of sensitivity. We critise politician for being insensitive but I would say our media is more insensitive than politician. They treat this as an opportunity and try everything to get the news without verifying the facts. Rather they create bigger havoc than the actual havoc. 9) Special mention of Ms. Bharkha Dutt, who claimed during a dicussion that she has direct access in PMO and ATS and she can confirm any information. Is she not trying to show that secrecy in PMO and ATS has been compromised ? Think about it. Of course channel TRP goes up but our Nations credibility and secrecy goes down. Let us resist from doing such thing and security agencies should interogate her and find out the culprits and punish them.

This terrorism has to end somewhere. If not now then never. These terrorists cannot take us (common men) for granted and they cannot decide our fath like this. None but only the corrupt polician has to be blamed for this. Why should I pay (tax) for the security of our politician or babus?? We choose our representative so that they can take care of us. This is their responsibility and this is their job. If they have been given any responsibility, there has to be accountability. They cannot do anything they want for their own benefit. If they cannot perform, they should leave this place for any suitable candidate. What thse politician think of us. This time we won't let them go away like this. Either I will choose an able leader or else I will not vote at all. If required I am ready to quit my job and will join politics and devote my life to make my home (India) a better place to live in. Jai Hind.

It is a very sad and unfortunate event of this terrorist attack. It is now high time to stop and control the repetition of this type of attacks not only in India but any part of the world and hence any party, organization or religion that advocate killing, violence and terrorism may be banned once and forever to avoid such terrorist atrocities against any innocent & defenseless people and also towards any nation. Further, take appropriate stern action by the concerned authorities against these terrorists organization and protect the peace loving people.

Home Ministry and Defence Ministry should jointly come up with a plan for alleviating the fears of the common man about national security. With India gaining in prominence on the wor ld stage, there will be many who would want to do us harm, so in this environment, being a little paranoia as opposed to our normal "chalta hai" attitude could actually work to secure many innocent lives.
